What is Quakebusters?

It's task force of ordinary people putting their talents to work where they live, in their neighborhoods, schools, businesses and churches. Haiti's 7.0 magnitude earthquake is an unprecedented disaster. Already on the brink of starvation, the people of Haiti need immediate assistance. We cannot afford to waste time coming up with the "Perfect Plan". QuakeBusters is created so that you can be empowered to help. You have talents, different from those of your friends and neighbors. Now put those talents to work by planning a simple and fun QuakeBusters Event. Invite your friends and neighbors to help. Schedule it, and we'll help you to promote it as a QuakeBusters Event. By networking with our willing volunteers, your event can be very successful, because a small army is waiting to help you!

We are assembling volunteers with all kinds of talent! : Cooks, Rock Stars, Bakers, Athletes,Youth Groups, Eager Beavers. Children with willing hearts and sticky fingers, Grandparents, Boy Scouts, Housewives, Seamstresses, Knitters, Artists, Musicians, Hairdressers, Gardeners, Web Designers, Organizers, Your Talent HERE! get the idea?

Here are some suggestions: Spaghetti dinner, rummage sale, pop can drive, benefit concert, movie night, basketball tournament, bake sale; creativity is encouraged!

We will hold brief, ONE hour planning sessions in our home towns to organize, brainstorm, and coordinate our efforts.
